Staff were wonderful. When we arrived, we got smiling faces and two staff members ready to check us in and give us recommendations. We asked about local dining and authentic food from the area and they gave us many selections to choose from. We took their advice and were not disappointed. The room we got was spacious and wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the room felt like a small studio apartment. We will stay here again!! Note: while we were there, one elevator was not working and the other was very slow. Take the stairs if you can, it may be much quicker.
Stayed here many times this year for work. Overall, ok hotel. It’s the lowest brand similar to Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn. Check in process is smooth and there was even one time they automatically put me in a room far from the elevator because they took the time to ready notes on my profile. I love Hyatt but I’ve noticed most of staff members don’t look at the member profile for stay preferences. Rooms were decent. AC is a little loud and ran all the time so I turned it off at night. Breakfast was so/so. Lots of parking availability.
Decent hotel and a clean bed. Breakfast was great and the breakfast attendant was absolutely lovely. I’d give it more stars if the room didn’t smell like it was absolutely drenched in perfume and the weird smudges all over the walls and curtains were cleaned up. EDIT: After checking out at the front desk, the attendant asked how our stay was and after we cited our concerns, she was very genuine in her response that she would address the issues and apologized. Adding one star back because this is rare these days. Great job!
A bit far from downtown but convenient to the airport and shopping. Room across the hall was loud until after 11 but otherwise a nice stay and comfortable clean rooms
I had a nice few days at the Hyatt Place North Charleston. Very pleased with my room and the breakfast each morning was very nice also. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Charleston.
Nice and clean hotel to stay in Charleston. The staff was so kind and accommodating, especially Dwayne and Dante. The rooms are large enough to hold 6 people with pull out couches, nice modern style, decent breakfast with Starbucks and snack options throughout the day. While there was an issue with the elevator upon checkout, the manager was apologetic and accommodating so I recommend staying here! If I could I would really give it a 4.5 because the service was that good, they can't really help the location.
Room was very clean and spacious. Better than I expected. Couch is clean so we could really relax on it. Breakfast buffet was also good. Variety of foods ana resh. Pool area was also clean and nice. Check in was smooth and staff were nice.
The ladies in the front, Miss Washington and Emily were so nice and amazing. The rooms are clean. The hotel is spectacular. They have the best breakfast in the morning. Everything is free and complementary. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. It is amazing.
